Three Rivers’ Tales
Encounters at the Art-Research Interface
Ciclo di seminari “PALIMPSEST Unconference”
21/03/2025, h. 14:30 – 16:30
Piattaforma Teams
The seminar explores water as a connection, transformation, and artistic inquiry medium. Bringing together art and research, the seminar delves into diverse water imaginaries shaped by distinct environmental narratives. The invited speakers will address different water emergencies through three interconnected stories, intertwining artistic, ethical, and ecological perspectives. From ancient aqueducts to contemporary environmental crises, the discussion will examine water beyond its role as a resource, questioning its presence as material, metaphor, and political force. The event aims to foster dialogue at the intersection of artistic practice and research, proposing water as both a subject and a method of engagement in times of ecological urgency.
