BREATHE: Edmonton’s Green Network Strategy is an innovative city-wide open space plan developed by the City of Edmonton – Alberta – Canada. The strategy acknowledges the interconnected nature of open spaces across the city, and the way in which many different urban networks coexist and overlap to form an integrated, multifunctional green network. It received two awards: CIP (Canadian Institute of Planners) Award for Planning Excellence, and CSLA (Canadian Society of Landscape Architects) Award for Planning and Analysis.
