Urban and regional development of Turin

In this lecture, Marco Santangelo (Politecnico di Torino) will provide an overview of the urban and regional development trajectories of Turin in the last two decades. In particular, he will discuss the 2006 Winter Olympics as an important conjunction for a number of processes. Projects and governance arrangements at different scales will be considered in order to provide a broader context and understanding for the mega-event and other recent turning points.
