Opening seminar of the design workshop MInDS – Milano International Design Studio, with introductory talks on the theme “The new Olympic Village for 2026 Winter Olympics”.
The MInDS gives to the students of the MSc course “Architecture – Built Environment – Interiors” the possibility to experience an intensive design activity under the supervision of international architects and professors. The area for the 2021 edition is the Porta Romana railyard in Milan, where the Olympic Village for the 2026 Winter Olympic Games will be built. The students will approach the area with a multi-scalar set of interventions involving buildings, landscape and urban design.
The talks of the opening seminar will be related to various aspects of the specific area and, more in general, to urban design competitions in Milan.
