Living with water. Scenarios as a design tool
Lecture is a part of the series of seminars within the Master Plans Studio – The Project of Proximity. Questioning the Infrastructure of everyday life from the Urban Margins.
Fabio Vanin will present a research “Veneto 2100: Living with Water” about the risk related to water flow dysfunctions affecting three very different landscape of the Veneto Region. Using the scenario forecasting and the cartographic and anthropological analysis, the future of these territories was questioned taking the hydraulic dysfunctions as vantage point. The research unfolded at the intersection of urban design, landscape architecture, hydraulic engineering, visual communication, and anthropology.
