Liselott Stenfeldt presents projects and strategies for public space developed at Gehl
Jan Gehl is one of the figures who has most influenced the way of thinking about public space in European cities in recent years. For more than twenty years, the studio he founded with the urban designer Helle Søholt in 2000 has been carrying out projects, strategies, and interventions driven by the same objective as his books and early practices: “Making cities for people” is the claim and motto of the office.
Liselott Stenfeldt is the Director of the Global Cities team in Copenhagen and Head of R&D at Gehl. She will delve into some of the office’s works to unpack topical and critical aspects of today’s planning and designing public spaces worldwide. The seminar is organized by Antonella Bruzzese in the framework of the Integrated Course in Urbanism (Proff. Bertrando Bonfantini and Daniele Villa) at the Master in Urban Planning and Policy Design.
