In the context of international exchanges for ERASMUS+ teachers, Professor Vincent Buhagiar, an architect & civil engineer and PhD in energy efficiency in buildings, former Head of the Department of Environmental Design of the University of Malta will introduce the theme of Sustainability with an accent on Maltese aspects in Bioclimatic Architecture, Design, and Energy Retrofitting and talk about ongoing research in the field of high-tech glazed facades, building performance, occupant comfort, well-being and lifestyle changes towards Sustainability. After the lecture, prof. Buhagiar will be at the disposal to discuss further possibilities for common research topics in collaboration with DASTU and Polimi Scholars and PhD Students. The lecture and the following gathering moment are open to anyone interested in environmental design in Malta, but not only.
