Professor Filippo De Pieri of Politecnico di Torino presents and discusses his recent work on neighborhood planning in Contemporary Italy. By focusing on the trajectory of a variety of integrated developments designed between the 1960s and 70s across Italy he contributes to relevant contemporary discussions on neighborhood planning, the social division of the urban space and the changing meanings of public policy interventions in the production of residential environments.
