From the series “Why is Living in Milan so Exhausting?”
“Corridors” is the first seminar in the cycle linked to the Architectural Design Studio “Why is Living in Milan so Exhausting?”. The traditional elements of the house typology (such as Corridors, Bathrooms, Rooms, Kitchens) are deconstructed thanks to the research of architects, artists and researchers.
Davide Rapp, director, is a trained architect with a PhD in Interior Design from the Politecnico di Milano, where he currently teaches. He lectured at various Italian and international schools of Design and Architecture, including the School of Design of the University in Genoa, Domus Academy (Milan), NABA (Milan), Burg Giebichenstein Kunsthochschule (Halle), Mansfield College (Oxford). As architect and video maker, he participated in the 78th Venice International Film Festival with the montage film in VR “Montegelato” and in the 14th International Architecture Exhibition in Venice, “Fundamentals” (2014), with “Elements”, a 32-minute montage that describes the fundamental elements of architecture through a sequence of over 500 film clips. In 2019 he founded the Milan-based creative agency ‘-orama’.
