The case of Taranto Old Town
In the seminar will be presented the research work developed by the Ph.D. Candidates of the course in Urban Planning Design and Policy, within the Ph.D. workshop coordinated by professors Balducci, Concilio, Pucci, and Sabatinelli.
In this framework, the students have investigated the case of Taranto Old Town as an emblematic example of a fragile territory in Italy, but also as an opportunity to “put into practice” the possibilistic approach described by Hirschman, among other authors.
The work will be introduced by professor Balducci and presented by the Ph.D. Candidates, Nicoletta Stame (Università di Roma La Sapienza) and Paolo Di Nola (Invitalia) have been invited as discussants, a debate open to the participants will follow.
