The seminar explores the topic of regenerative architecture in the context of the contemporary city. Placing a particular attention on collective housing projects, on issues of flexibility and adaptability, it examines potential ways in which the design project may contribute to improving the relation between building, program, and context, at both architectural and district scales.

Fabian Hörmann (* Bielefeld, 1978) is an associate at the architectural practice EM2N, head of the Competition and design department. He has co-curated numerous publication and exhibition projects, among them the exhibition “Together! The New Architecture of the Collective” for the Vitra Design Museum (2018). He studied architecture in Stuttgart and Las Palmas and worked in the fields of film, media, and architecture in Germany, the Netherlands, and Switzerland.Responsabile: Stamatina Kousidi
