Ciclo si seminari (Un)Affordable Housing & Neighbourhoods
This is the sixth guest lecture of the series (Un)Affordable Housing & Neighbourhoods, in collaboration with the newly-founded Osservatorio Casa Affordable di Milano Metropolitana (OCA). The lecture will host Melanie Ort and Mathias Nehls. They present themselves as “berlin tenants and housing activists”, and they are part of the movement “Deutsche Wohnen & Co Enteignen”, which promote a successful referendum campaign for the expropriation of big corporate landlords in Berlin as a reaction to the growing affordability crisis in the city. They will explain the story and perspective of the movement and of the campaign. Sara Caramaschi (Politecnico di Milano) and Laura Saija (Università degli studi di Catania) are invited as discussants.
