Housing Regeneration in EU
21/05/2019, h. h. 9:30 – 13:30
DAStU, via Ponzio 31Bis, Edificio NAVE, AULA B.3.4
The seminar “Housing regeneration in EU: an Opportunity for Architecture and Architects” is inspired by the increasing number of interesting projects and architectural practices dealing with spatial, typological and technical innovation connected to the regeneration of collective residential buildings and neighborhoods all over Europe. These topics combines simultaneously many different issues: the participation or the mobility of the inhabitants, the typological innovation in relation to contemporary practices, the work on the envelope and the image of the building, the effects that these projects are able to produce on urban scale, especially in peripheral urban and metropolitan areas.
The seminar is aimed at generating a fruitful debate among professionals, researchers and students, discussing many relevant experiences and approaches that are producing new tools, new solutions and new references, implementing our common disciplinary knowledge.
