An urban walk and itinerant lecture through the two contiguous districts of Dergano and Bovisa in Milan
The immersive lesson-walk will start from the area of the disused pavilions of the Ex Ospedale Bassi. It will continue through the description of the local activism in the Dergano district at the headquarters of Municipio 9 ─ the historical Villa Hanau ─ and of the recent regeneration of Dergano square within the “Piazze Aperte Program” promoted by the City of Milan. Crossing the residential-productive district of Bovisa, where the Bovisa-Candiani Campus of the Politecnico is located, we will reach Bovisa Railway Station square, touching the areas of the “Nodo Bovisa-Reinventing Cities” future transformation. From here, the redevelopment of the Bovisa-Goccia former-industrial area will be presented, and the under-construction projects will be described through the visit to the Gasometers site.
