This PhD seminar reflects on the preliminary findings of ongoing doctoral research into the role of spatial planning in cloudburst adaptation. Drawing on case studies of Oslo and Copenhagen, the discussion will explore the potential integration of cloudburst adaptation into the Italian planning context using ecosystem services, green and blue infrastructure, and nature-based solutions.
