NBSouth Knowledge Exchange Seminar
NBSouth, a Polisocial Award Project, explores Nature-based solutions for Climate Adaptation in cities of the Global South. As part of project’s knowledge exchange activities, it presents a one-day knowledge exchange seminar on “Urban Nature-based Solutions for Climate Adaptation”, scheduled for February 13th, including morning and afternoon sessions. It serves as a dynamic platform for researchers, practitioners, and students to share, discuss, and expand their knowledge on innovative nature-based approaches. By facilitating the exchange of insights and practical experiences, the event aims to enhance awareness of the application of NBS in diverse urban contexts and their contribution to climate adaptation. The seminar also seeks to address disparities in NBS practices between the Global North and South, emphasizing the critical role that context-based, effective, and equitable NBS can play in improving urban resilience in the face of climate change in fast-urbanizing areas.
