On 23 April 2026, the final event of the European project PALIMPSEST will take place at Politecnico di Milano, marking the conclusion of a three-year research exploring the role of artistic and creative practices in environmental and territorial transformations.
PALIMPSEST operates within the framework of the New European Bauhaus initiative and explores the transformative potential of creative and artistic initiatives in real-world contexts, with a particular focus on landscape transformations oriented towards environmental sustainability.
PALIMPSEST experimented in three pilot cities: Jerez de la Frontera (ES), Łódź (PL), and Milan (IT).
The event will unfold in three main sessions: a morning dedicated to the presentation of the project and its key insights; a policy roundtable in dialogue with other EU projects (HERITACT and UNLOCKTHECITY!); and an afternoon book launch.
