Governance in Historical Industrial Districts' Regeneration
Lessons from Italy and China
The historical industrial districts’ regeneration (HIDR) has become a key urban development strategy. This study focuses on the HIDR in Italy and China. Despite adopting similar governance models, the cases reveal divergent outcomes. The research analyzes actor relationships, institutional frameworks, and policy contexts to uncover fundamental governance factors shaping HIDR.
