Loggia by Chie Konno

The book presents research on semi-open spaces worldwide, which started in 2010.

The semi-outdoor space with a roof, including the loggia, has been developed in various ways in the climatic conditions and cultures around the world. In these loggia spaces, various aspects of life circulate, including daily activities such as work and hobbies, social activities with local people, and changes in natural elements such as light, shadow, and wind. In other words, people can learn how to interact with them and build a living in the local culture and climate through such a loggia space. We are researching all over the world for a loggia space that can develop the skills of these people.
