Architect, PhD, Associate Professor in Composition and Architectural Composition at the Department of Architecture and Urban Studies, AUIC School, Politecnico of Milan. Deputy coordinator of the AUID doctoral course for territorial fragility.

My scientific and research activity develops according to the “research for design” strategy through architecture competitions, which have obtained prizes, awards, and architectural projects. The main topic of the experimentation concerns the relationship between architectural design in weak and fragile contexts. The focus is on the relationship between multiscalar declinations in different areas.

From this point of view, the design opportunities were privileged, especially on the themes of infrastructures, urban and architectural recovery, open spaces in fragile contexts. The research activity had specific repercussions in the didactic training and the publications with books and essays.

The experience gained in terms of project fragility was also poured into the Excellence activities of the DASTU_Polimi Department, becoming part of the coordination group of the “Territorial Fragility” project of excellence.
