Datascapes. Logistics, Design, Innovation

Honours Programme

The advanced training program "Datascapes: Logistics, Design, Innovation" is about to launch, dedicated to the design of data centers and the regeneration of decommissioned or underutilized logistics assets.

The program, organized by the Department of Architecture and Urban Studies (DAStU) and the School of Architecture, Urban Planning, Construction Engineering (AUIC) with Techbau SpA, investigates the role of data centers as drivers of contemporary territorial transformation and explores how the regeneration of abandoned or underutilized logistics assets can open up new design perspectives.

The program includes integrated training activities – lectures, seminars, study visits, and project work – aimed at developing advanced skills that are immediately applicable to the job market.

The initiative is part of an international context characterized by growing demand for digital infrastructure and the need to combine technological innovation, sustainability, and urban regeneration. With this collaboration, Techbau and the Politecnico di Milano reaffirm their commitment to promoting research, training new professionals, and supporting a responsible and future-oriented development model.
