The seminar series “Dialogue on Fragility Matters”, supported by CRAFT – Competence Centre Anti-Fragile Territories, will explore themes such as the challenges posed by megacity expansion in the architectural and urban fields, cultural exchange impacts on urban planning, the delicate interplay between architecture and heritage conservation, the pressing contemporary environmental challenges and the evolution of housing typologies.
The third appointment of the seminar series Dialogues on Fragility Matters will take place on 10th April and will focus on “Environ-mental analysis in Indian Urban Neighbourhoods”. The guest speaker will be Tina Pujara from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, Roorkee.
The seminar will delve into the urban challenges intensified by the megacity expansion. It will critically analyses pressing contemporary environmental urban stressors, such as pollution and climate change, enquiring on what is urban wellbeing, how to measure it and discussing on how architects and urban planners can respond to the crisis through multidisciplinary sustainable design approach.
